Entry Level Jobs: Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Environmental services assistant (ESA) and General Services.

Requirements:

  • Must have Certificate III in Individual Support or higher accredited training or be prepared to undertake training.

  • Successful completion of Level II First Aid Certificate.

  • Work Shift work mornings, afternoons and night shift.

  • Be able to work on your feet for long shifts, so physically fit.

  • Able to work in team environment.

  • Pass Police Check and other relevant checks as required by potential employer.

Entry Level Jobs: Personal Carer

Requirements:

  • Must have Certificate IV in Disability and or be able to enrol in course.

  • Life Skills/Experience.

  • Passion for advocacy and working with people with a disability.

  • Ability to work 7 days per week, on different shifts, sometimes only a few hours per shift including overnight stays.

  • Pass Police Check, Working with Children Check (dependant on employer) and also pass Disability Services Sector Employment Screening check.

  • Drivers Licence and own transport would be a bonus.

Entry Level : General Services assistant

Entry Level Requirements:

  • All staff are required to provide a current Victorian Police Check and complete a Statutory Declaration as per the Aged Care Principles prior to commencement of employment.

  • Some positions will also require a WWC Check.

  • Have a good knowledge of Colac Area Health and Services Provided.
